# Cricket 07 browser troubleshooting: WebGPU, audio and input

Fix common Cricket 07 browser issues including keyboard focus, muted audio worklets, and WebGPU errors.

## Keyboard or mouse input does not respond

Click directly inside the Cricket 07 browser canvas after the game loads. Browser security policies require a direct click inside the embedded game frame before keyboard events (`Arrow Keys`, `W`, `A`, `S`, `D`, `Enter`) are delivered to the runtime.

## No sound or muted commentary

1. Click inside the game canvas so the browser unlocks its `AudioContext` and `c07-ring` AudioWorklet.
2. Check the **Sound on / Mute** toggle in the control bar below the Cricket 07 browser player.
3. Note that if you selected **Lite Edition**, voice commentary is intentionally omitted to save over 300 MB of download size; choose **Regular Edition** if you want full match commentary.

## WebGPU adapter or initialization error

If the Cricket 07 browser player stops with a WebGPU message, verify that you are using a current desktop version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, enable **Use graphics acceleration when available** in browser system settings, and restart the browser.

## Download stalls during OPFS unpacking

Keep the `cricket-07.org` tab active in the foreground during the first-time download. Background tabs can be throttled by the browser while decompressing large `.gz` chunks. Because the installer saves each verified file to OPFS as it completes, refreshing and clicking Play again will resume from the remaining files.
